Apply online
Ten minutes. Basic business details plus your last 3–4 months of bank statements. No hard credit pull to see your options.*
Underwriting
Funding partners review deposits, average daily balance, negative days, time in business and any existing advances. Most decisions land in 24–48 hours.
Compare offers
Your advisor lays out each offer in plain dollars: amount, total to remit, daily or weekly remittance, and term.
Fund and remit
Sign, and funds are deposited, typically within 24–72 hours of final approval. Remittances begin on the agreed schedule via ACH.
Apply online in about ten minutes.
The application asks for the same things an underwriter needs to open a file: who you are, what the business is, roughly what it deposits each month, how much you are looking for and what it is for, and whether you carry any existing advance or loan balances. You then upload your bank statements. Nothing is sent to a funding partner until your advisor has reviewed the file.
Answer the revenue and existing-balance questions accurately. Underwriters see both in the statements, and a file that matches its statements moves faster than one that needs a follow-up call.
- Owner contact details, ownership percentage and title
- Legal business name, DBA, structure, start date and industry
- Approximate monthly revenue and average bank balance
- Amount requested and use of funds
- Any existing merchant cash advance or loan balance
- Your last 4 months of business bank statements, uploaded securely
What you’ll need
Have these ready and most files are decided within two business days.
- Last 3–4 months of business bank statements, all pages
- Most recent credit card processing statements, if you accept cards
- Government-issued photo ID for the owner
- Voided business check or bank letter
- For larger amounts: most recent tax return or profit and loss
- Reverse Consolidation: the agreement and current balance for each existing advance
- Equipment financing: the vendor quote, invoice or listing
Underwriting reads your bank statements, not just your credit score.
Your advisor checks the file, then sends it to the funding partners whose criteria it fits. Each partner sets its own guidelines, but they read the same statements and look for the same things. The review is about whether the business can carry the remittance out of its normal deposits.
Credit is part of the picture, not the whole of it. A lower personal score usually affects the amount and the cost more than the decision itself. See the bad credit funding guide for what each credit band typically qualifies for.
What partners look at
| Signal | What helps |
|---|---|
| Monthly deposits | Steady totals month to month. Advance size is set from these. |
| Average daily balance | A cushion that stays positive between deposits and outflows. |
| Negative or NSF days | Few or none. Each one narrows the list of partners. |
| Time in business | 6+ months to be considered; 12+ opens more partners and better pricing. |
| Existing positions | Disclosed up front. Second and third positions are common. |
| Industry and location | An eligible industry in the US or Canada. |
Compare offers in plain dollars.
Offers come back from one or more partners. Your advisor puts them side by side and walks through every line, so you are comparing amounts, totals, remittances and terms rather than working anything out from a rate. Nothing is left to interpret after you sign: the total you will remit is fixed in dollars on day one.
Two offers can carry the same total and feel very different. A shorter term costs the same in dollars but takes more from each week’s sales. A longer term is easier week to week. Your advisor will show you the weekly outflow against your average deposits so you can see which one your cash flow actually supports.
- Same amount and term: the lower total wins.
- Same total: pick the schedule your weekly deposits can carry comfortably.
- Already stacked: ask whether Reverse Consolidation lowers your weekly outflow instead of adding another position.
- Recurring need: a line of credit may fit better than a lump sum.
- Not sure which product: read MCA vs term loan vs line of credit.
- Before you upload: read what funders look for in bank statements.
- Advance amount
- The deposit to your account
- Total to remit
- Fixed in dollars on day one
- Remittance
- Daily or weekly amount, by ACH
- Term
- Estimated weeks or months to deliver
Also in writing: any origination or ACH fees, how reconciliation works if sales drop, and whether early delivery earns a discount.
Lines of credit and equipment financing are provided by third-party lenders and are stated differently: a limit, rate or fee and repayment term per draw for a line; a payment, term and buyout for equipment. Your advisor shows those side by side too.
Sign, get funded, and remit on schedule.
Once you accept an offer, the funding partner completes final approval. That may include a brief verification call and confirming your bank account details. Funds are then deposited directly to your business account, typically within 24–72 hours of final approval.*
Remittances are drawn by ACH on the schedule in your agreement. For a merchant cash advance that is a fixed daily or weekly amount derived from the agreed share of your revenue, with a reconciliation available if sales fall. For Reverse Consolidation, the partner sends you a weekly disbursement that covers your existing advances and you remit one lower weekly amount. For equipment financing, the lender pays the vendor directly and monthly payments begin about 30 days later.
Your advisor stays on the file after funding. If sales drop, ask about reconciliation before a remittance is missed. If you need capital again later, the remittance history on this agreement is the first thing the next underwriter reads.
How each product funds
| Product | Funds arrive | You pay |
|---|---|---|
| Merchant cash advance | Lump sum by ACH, 24–72 hrs after final approval | Daily or weekly ACH remittance, 3–18 months |
| Reverse Consolidation | Weekly disbursements that cover your existing advances | One lower weekly remittance over a longer term |
| Line of credit | Each draw, same or next business day | Only on what you draw, per the draw term |
| Equipment financing | Lender pays the vendor, usually 1–3 business days | Fixed monthly payments starting 30 days later |
What slows a file down, and how to avoid it.
Most delays are document delays
The 24–48 hour decision window starts when the file is complete. These are the things that most often stop the clock.

Questions about the process
Is Swyft Advance a lender?
No. Swyft Advance works with a network of funding partners who make the approval decision and set the amount, cost and terms of every offer. Your advisor prepares your file, matches it to the partners most likely to approve it, and helps you compare the offers that come back.
Does checking my options affect my credit?
Checking your options does not involve a hard credit inquiry. A funding partner may review credit after you accept an offer. Approval is based primarily on your business revenue and cash flow rather than your credit score alone.
How long does it take from application to funds?
Most complete applications receive a decision within 24–48 hours. Once you accept an offer and final approval is complete, funds are typically deposited within 24–72 hours. The biggest variable is how quickly complete documents arrive.
What do funding partners look at in my bank statements?
Monthly deposit totals and how consistent they are, the average daily balance, the number of negative-balance or NSF days, time in business, and any remittances to existing advances or loans. Strong, steady deposits with few negative days open more partners and better pricing.
Can I apply if I already have an advance or loan?
Yes. Many funding partners consider a second or third position. If you already carry two or more advances and the combined payments are straining cash flow, Reverse Consolidation is usually the better fit because it lowers your weekly outflow instead of adding to it. Tell your advisor about every existing balance up front; underwriters see them in the statements regardless.
What happens after I am funded?
Remittances are drawn by ACH on the schedule in your agreement. Your advisor stays your point of contact for the life of the agreement, including questions about reconciliation if sales fall and about additional capital later. Keep a copy of the signed agreement and track your remittances against the total stated in it.
